It was hard and I was wrong; I am sorry

As a part of our midterm project, our professor assigned us an assembly project for a pinhole camera last week. To most of us, the news were incredible and exciting; we thought that this would finally be our way of having fun out of the paper for this course, and that the project would be easy and fun to do, but what did we know though?! Once we heard the news and knew the group divisions, we started by the most fundamental ritual any group project in the 21st century does: a WhatsApp group. We started by watching multiple videos on YouTube about the steps needed and we read a number of How-tos; we decided to make a full frame pinhole camera and a 35mm-film-matchbox pinhole camera. Accordingly, we made a long list of the materials we needed and started collecting and buying them (and borrowing the developing materials from the professor). So far the project was running smooth and according to plan and it stayed like that till the day of assembly and that was when we realized that this project is not as easy as it may look.

We found out that we will need a completely dark room to install the films and unload them, but that was not the only problem; our friend Marco had an accident and did not arrive on time to catch us and he had the materials for the second camera, so we were both short on materials and hands. However, we worked on our first camera and, still, it was far from easy. From painting through light-proofing (HARDEST THING THROUGH THE DAY) to cutting and taping the whole thing; it was a very tiring process and we barely finished only one camera on time. We were all dipped in black and glue but the result was satisfying and the group had a good spirit throughout; it was a lovely experience where I learned how to manage my time better, how to act with limited resources and how to work in a team.
